Wild Cats Sanctuary Visit
A family adventure for all ages, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Saturdays! The Wild Felid Advocacy Center of WA is on Harstine Island. The sanctuary is a safe haven for approximately 50 wild cats, ranging from 3 – 21 years, including Cougars, Bobcats, Servals, Tigers, Canada and Eurasian Lynx, Domestic/Wild Hybrids, a Caracal, Geoffroy's Cat, Jungle Cat, Snow Leopard, African Leopard, and the only true Gordon's Cats in the United States.
This guided Family Visit is for 4 – adults and children ages 3-11 and 12 and over for a visit, lasting 1 hour. Note: Young children must be carried or held by the hand at all times. Visits are rain or shine. TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE once a reservation has been booked with the Sanctuary. Not Allowed during your visit: Pets, Cameras, Food, Double Strollers. Allowed during your visit: Water, Single Strollers, Walkers, Canes, Purses, Backpacks
The Family Adventure is a wonderful introduction to the Wild Felid Advocacy Center specifically for the family with young children, as the information delivered is geared to all ages . You will be introduced to our wonderful animal residents by trained staff, learn about their species, and about how we care for them. While you will get very close to the animals, there is no actual contact. This is not allowed by Federal law.
